Wrapped Too Tight Inc ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Hunt'n Buddy Eats mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our App.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (stored securely via Clerk authentication).
- Usage Data: We collect information about how you use the App, including recipes generated, cooking preferences, game type selections, and feature interactions.
- Camera Data: If you use the fridge ingredient scanner feature, we temporarily access your device camera to capture images for AI-based ingredient recognition. Images are processed and not permanently stored on our servers.
- Purchase Information: If you subscribe to Hunt'n Buddy Pro, subscription status and purchase history are managed through Apple's App Store and RevenueCat. We do not store your payment card information.
- Device Information: We may collect device identifiers, operating system version, and app version for analytics and crash reporting purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the App's features and recipe generation services
- To manage your account and subscription status
- To process ingredient photos for AI recipe suggestions
- To communicate with you about your account or support requests
- To analyze usage patterns and improve the App
- To prevent fraud and ensure app security
3. Camera and Photo Access
The App requests access to your device camera solely for the optional fridge ingredient scanner feature. Camera access is only used when you explicitly open the scanner and tap "Allow Camera." We do not access your camera in the background or without your knowledge. Captured images are sent to our AI processing service and are not permanently stored after ingredient recognition is complete.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Service Providers: Clerk (authentication), RevenueCat (subscription management), and OpenAI (recipe AI generation) — each bound by their own privacy policies.
- Apple: Subscription and purchase data is processed by Apple's App Store.
- Legal Requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data and recipe history for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@huntnbuddy.com.
6. Children's Privacy
Hunt'n Buddy Eats is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
7. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication via Clerk, and access controls to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we strive to protect your data.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Opt out of non-essential communications
